Dear Ted:
I'll tell you what my problem with Taylor Lautner is. He's supposed to be playing an extremely tall Native American guy in Twilight, and the kid is, what, 5 percent Native American, and pretty much looks like a olive-skinned white dude in a bad wig! I don't understand why the producers got Native American actors to play his cronies, and then hired someone who totally doesn't fit in, and who didn't discover he had that minuscule Native heritage until he was in the midst of preparing for this role. It's like Natalie Wood in West Side Story all over again.

Doesn't count they tried to make up for it in the wolf pack, eh? Maybe we're all being too hard on Tay-hon, at this point—he was pushed into an impossibly cruel spotlight. But he sure doesn't seem to be doing anything to win us skeptics over, just the opposite.

If Johnny Depp smells so bad why have the people who have worked with him never complained? Who smells worse, Johnny or Robert Pattinson? Who else needs hygiene tips? Thanks.

Dear Dirty:
Johnny Depp can smell horrific as he wants and I still wouldn't kick him out of bed. It's the rebel appeal. It looks like Ke$ha and Lohan could both use a long bath.

Did we say how much we love Joan Jett, already? Oh, well too bad 'cause we're going to say it again. She's awesome.

We all know by now The Runaways film features a sultry splash of some girl-on-girl action between Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning and we couldn't help but note while watching the fantastic flick how same-sex sexuality is much different when it comes guys than girls.

Why is that? Is it not way more acceptable, hot, and trendy in society today for girls to fool around with each other—but is so not OK for guys to do the same?

Hear Joan and Kristen weigh in on this touchy taboo:

"It's because [guys] want to watch girls," Joan said super chill at The Luxe hotel, dressed in a black halter and black pants. "Because men still rule the world. They want their girlfriends to f—k a girl for them. But if the girls are just into each other, then they get bored and they're like no, no, no. I got to be involved in this."

Too funny. Too true!

We were dying to see if Kristen agreed with Joan, but had a little misstep—literally—when approaching our favorite gal.

Taryn Ryder completely tripped and fell when walking up to Stewart to get her thoughts on Jett's comment. After Kristen, laughing and sweet as can be, gave an "OMG" and helped her up (adding that the clumsiness happens to her too, mind you), we went in for the kill before her publicist could try and stop us.

"Man, I can't talk right now but I wish you asked that question [during the roundtable]," Kristen said concerning society's approval of bisexuality when it comes to women, not men.

How about you give us a thumbs up or nod your head if you agree that there's this big double standard of sexuality when it comes to guys and girls?

"I'm nodding. I'm definitely nodding," Kristen shouted as she left the room.

Fascinating, both Joan and Kristen totally the sexist state of things. Knew we liked them for a reason.

So, look, America, maybe it's time you answered, as well:

Sure, no big deal for the gals to do it same-sex, right?

Just look at Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie, and Megan Fox (who may just talk the sexy talk). They've had their dalliances with women, but heavens forbid a man should come clean about doing the same thing!

If Toothy Tile stepped out with Grey Goose, the media and fans alike would have a fit. Hypothetically speaking, if Kristen and Dakota did the same? It would just be hot, hot, hot in everyone's minds.

That's just twisted.

Dear Ted:
Tedtastic, you must really hate my BBs because you never answer. I read your blolum every day. Can't a fan catch a break? If you ever come around, please answer me this: Do you really think Robert Pattinson has any acting skills? From what I've seen, he's not very talented. Sure he's good looking, weird, interesting, whatever. But it seems like being good looking and having "just enough" talent to get by is all it takes to make in Hollywood, and America. When will Hollywood and the U.S start rewarding excellence over great marketability?

Here's your answer, babe: I think Rob definitely has acting chops, but do I think they've been shown with projects like Twilight? Hardly. Once the delicious dude breaks free of the franchise, I'm sure we'll be much more impressed with what he brings to the table. Speaking of, check out Remember Me, not bad at all.

Dear Ted:
Thank you so much for saying what so many people are saying about Taylor Lautner. I'm so over him being in our faces for the Twilight promotion. Just take that 10-second preview of Eclipse, half of which was just a showcase for, once again, Taylor's abs. Summit must be really dense if they think fans of Twilight only want to see that. The story is about Edward and Bella. I seriously hope that Eclipse actually showcases this properly and is not just showing that Taylor's nothing but a pretty face. On a much happier note, did you see Kristen on Jay Leno? She was absolutely beautiful and funny and so relaxed. She was amazing, gotta say. Here's hoping that when press comes for Eclipse, we get more awesome interviews with both Kristen and Robert together!

I think you're definitely in store for some serious Edward/Bella action in Eclipse, but Tay does love showing off his washboard abs so look for an appearance by them as well. And I'm totally loving K.Stew's interviews lately too. She's so relatable and just plain cool.


Dear Ted:
I think people are mistaking Kristen Stewart's nerves for her acting like she doesn't even want to be at the Oscars. People, cut her some slack. She has said several times that she gets star-struck and imagine her in the Kodak Theater with the best of the best people in the acting world. Granted I would be nervous and terrified as well, I think Kristen looked ravishing and did a fantastic job. Ask yourself this question first, how would you feel if you had to go on stage with thousands of eyes watching you, plus those watching on TV, and you're only 19? Cut her some slack people!

Taylor Lautner wearing a wig in the "Twilight Saga" isn't anything new to fans of the franchise, but due to a Joan Jett haircut for her latest film "The Runaways," Kristen Stewart also had to don a wig for "Eclipse."



"It was fine. I've worn wigs before, just not with such ... I just felt such a tactile thing with Joan [that I cut my hair for the role]," she told MTV News on the red carpet of "The Runaways" premiere. "She holds all of her energy in her hands. I can be Bella without my hair, but I couldn't play Joan without."

And while some teenage girls would not have been too eager to chop off their locks, Stewart said she didn't have an emotional attachment to her strands. "I think Dakota was more emotional than I was, to be honest," she said. "She, like, almost cried when I cut my hair. It was something I needed to do. I needed to feel the sweat coming down my face and, like, I needed to be able to touch it. I just needed to do it."

The bond between Stewart and Fanning went far beyond that of just hair — the girls admitted that they became really good friends while shooting the flick. "It would have been really awful had we not [gotten along]," she said. "It is really rare, I have to say. I've worked with so many young people. I've met so many young people, actors, and everyone's different. Everybody's doing things for different reasons. I strongly admire [her]. It's cool."
