My code word was "sticky" as in this is a sticky situation about the RM premiere on the 17th. Let's quit complaining about the possib. of what will happen and go watch the Collider video. Rob totally cops to loving Kris. IMO R prob thought what he was feeling at first was due to the intense nature of E/B relaysh in TWI and how he and K wer kind of in a bubble during filming.He loves Emilie? That is so laughable. Now about Summit, the timing of this premiere sems suspect. I thnik we can all agree that if it was chosen specifically to overshadow Kris then all bets about a Summit conspiracy theory are on- at this point I don't think any of us are crazy for thinking Summit is heavy handed with R/K. Look at how open R/K were from BAFTA's on-they have stepped up their game so to speak in how they are presenting themselves to the public. IMO R/K are sure of their relaysh and are tiring of Summit BS and always having to be discreet. I think they clearly have a plan as to how to naturally cont

show their relaysh and be there for each other w/o flauting it. This seems to have been the case since we got the BS stories about "taking a break." I def think it is in Summit's power and mindset to "punish" R/K or K for the RM premiere even though it pleased many fans and was a win for Rob all around and the movie. Summit does not seem to recognize K's talent or strength. And remember Kstew411's rants about Summit-ithinkthat was more than the firing of the Eclipse editor or the deleting of coverage from German interview, JMO. Now for those of you who say R/K won't last past TWilight movies, I beg to differ with you and I'm not just being hopeful. IMO, being done with Twilight will make it even easier for their relaysh to grow and flourish. If Summit is only half as controlling as some of us think and R/K have only been through half as much drama as we think, then that is still more than most couples have had to endure. That's a **** of a lot of drama. BUT they continue to make being with each other a priority and really seem to have a connection. Their relaysh must be intensely imp to both of them to stick with it through all of this. I think they are def looking at being together long term. I don't know if I beleive in M, but I def beleive that they are past the "let's try out dating" stage and quite possibly are e-if not in the traditonal sense. I am really rooting fot these 2 and can't wait for twi to be over because I really think things will be easier for them!

I´ve always been one of those whose thought that "so what if the premieres are on the same date? They´re on different continents for crying out loud, the world is big enough for both of them." But I´m beginning to think that I´m in the minority here and maybe this view is a little naive??

I don't really belive it. The date's not only Summits doing. There are other things that decide too.

I dont know I'm just not a huge conspiracy theorist. Do I think Summit was stoked when they got together? No. They were on pic 2 of a 4-5 movie franchise and as we all know Summit is about the money. I dont think they made it easy for them. But their movies were coming out at the same time and conflicts or similar dates were a possibility. I also dont think Summit kept them quiet at the beginning and somehow Rob/Kris won their freedom. I think they were at the initial stage of dating where you like the person but you arent sure where it's going, only in Hollywood you're not really allowed that stage. As soon as photos come out you are together together. I think they are very secure in their relationship now as they've been dating for about a year and are naturally more free, b/c its serious and long term now.

Since when have they been dating for a year? I thought she only split with Angarano in August.

No, she had definetly split with oregano, by her bithday in April last year.

Since when have they been dating for a year? I thought she only split with Angarano in August.

Everyone has their own theory on this but I think it is safe to say that they have been together since last April- at least. I say it was earlier than that and on and off even before then but the last time we had pics of MA was way back in the spring. April was when the Bobby Long show pictures came out.... so that is why April is a safe bet IF your not into Summit cockblocking theories. Just my opinion of course!

I tend to think that Summit had it's RM premiere picked already, and maybe Apparition Road worked hard to get The Runaways to premiere around RM's premiere because people would be psyched to support both Kristen and Robert for their first non-twilight movie they are opening largely on their backs. One of those synergistic things.

The reality is RM and TR's main selling points are Robert and Kristen, so the timing of when to release them in relation to Eclipse is vital. It all comes down to money in the end I think.

I agree that all of this is just a guess and something that we'll probably never know. Aprily/May has always made the most sense to me for the reasons already stated. But who knows, could be wrong. Could have been earlier or later.

Can't really say anything about when Kristen and Rob became Robsten since I'm a fan only for a few months now.
And as for the premiere dates. Don't really think Summit would do something like this and even if what bad would it do?

I don't think most people assume they cheated. No one knows what the status of either relationship was at what time, if they overlapped at all. What we see public image wise has very little to do with what was going on behind the scenes.

One thing to keep in mind is that regardless of what was really happening, Summit included MA in the pr picture for Twilight publicity. Kristen was shown as very taken, her bf quite visible at most events. Robert was shown as very single with a harmless crush on his costar. It's no accident we all knew Kristen had been with MA for forever, or what he looked like, etc. My only point for bringing this up is that Summit did indeed shape public perceptions of how to view Robert as very single with a crush on Kristen, but Kristen not reciprocating since she had a boyfriend for the last twenty years.

If things in private began to be reconfigure at some point for K or MA or RP, Summit could potentially have a say in how that reconfiguration would be disseminated for public consumption, especially in terms of timing. It's no difference than how a normal workplace would deal with a workplace relationship as well when it's on their time. To me, I think R/K have played along at times, haven't played along at other times too.
