PoTD Day 6: Favorite Edward & Bella Moments

I think this was the most anticipated scene so far in the Twilight series ~ the leg hitch & proposal scene.  I really loved this scene, and thought “My Love” by Sia was the perfect song for it.  Hearing Edward say these words had my inner fangirl squeeing.

“I’m from a different era.  Things were a lot less complicated.  And if I would have met you back then, I would have courted you.  We’d have taken chaperoned strolls, and iced tea on the porch.  I may have stolen a kiss or two.  But only after asking your fathers permission, I would have gotten down on one knee, and I would have presented you with a ring.  This is my mothers. Isabella Swan, I promise to love you every moment of forever.  Would you do me the extraordinary honor if marrying me.”

This was the best scene of the film and the only one I felt they really did justice as far as showing the romance between Edward and Bella….the rest of the film showed how interested Slade was in newborns and his lack of interest in the actual couple driving the whole thing. I love the song that was chosen and my fave part is when he pulls her into his arms at the end and the music fits perfectly. It was amazing.

Ah, the leg hitch/proposal scene. One of my all-time favorite Twilight series/Eclipse scenes.

Such a sexy, sweet, and romantic scene. :)

Loved when she jumped into his arms. felt all of the movies were lacking in showing how much time they spent together by themselves and what a connection they shared.

Love, love, love this scene…one of the few in the Saga in which Bella does not come off as an insensitive bitch (IMO)…and the song by Sia during the scene was perfection.
