Photographers Week Day 2: Mario Testino
Today’s featured photographer is Mario Testino. He is my all time favorite fashion photographer. He is known as Anna Wintour’s, the US Editor of Vogue Magazine, photographer of choice. He recently shot her for the cover of the Wall St. Journal Magazine. This Peruvian has photographed everyone from Lady Gaga in Vogue last month to the late Princess Diana. The photos of Diana, Princess of Wales, taken in 1997 for the cover of Vanity Fair are my favorite pics ever taken of her, and quite possibly the most remembered cover of that magazine. They are worth looking-up or checking out in person at Kensington Palace. Mario Testino also shot the official Royal Engagement photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton. He is known for making subjects look the best they ever will, and making the shoot the most fun. I enjoyed Kristen’s shoot with Testino for Vogue’s February issue earlier this year. I think this was a fresh look at Kristen and a side we have not seen previously. I am quite certain he will shoot her in years to come!

beyond beautiful. This shoot show’s a mature side to Kris that can only be a taste of what’s to come. I know one thing after seeing these I saw a striking resemblence to Liz Taylor. Kris could play her if there were a movie. She most certain has that exotic look.
