Photographers Week Day 1: Bruce Weber
This week’s Pic of the Day theme is “Photographers”. I will be featuring some of the amazing photographers that have worked with both Rob and Kristen. They have been lucky to work with some leaders in the field; who have created many memorable images of them for us. I am a big fan of pop culture, and I love celebrity portraits and fashion spreads. I have also kept every single magazine that Rob or Kristen has appeared in. So I hope I can share some cool info and tidbits with you this week! Feel free to leave me comments or questions too.
Today’s photographer is Bruce Weber, who many know as the man responsible for the now legendary photoshoot Rob did for his first cover of VANITY FAIR in December 2009. He is widely known for his ad campaigns for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. He also is a contributor to GQ, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, Life, and Interview magazines. But did you know that he first photographed Kristen many years before in 2007, with her brother Cameron for Italian Vogue? He also photographed Kristen for her first magazine cover that same year for Teen Vogue. Here are two pics from those shoots:
