RLC Fic Rec – From Where I’m Standing
I’m bringing you a very quick little rec today, but one that is very dear to me. I wasn’t able to do much reading this week because I’ve been reading The Hunger Games series, thanks to the urging of the h00rs and my niece. Awesome series! Go read it if you haven’t already! And I finally caught up with the second half of Starry Eyed Inside since it is nearly done posting. I recced that one months back, I suggest you run to read it too if you haven’t already!
My rec to you today is something I Favorited on my FF.net account waaaaay back in January of 2009, when I had initially started my hunt for fics. I was still trying to stay in canon, not wanting to sully the image of Edward and Bella by reading about them any other way. Things obvs changed, lol, but before all that I was in love with a series of drabbles called From Where I’m Standing by runawayxo.
Author’s synopsis: Series of One-shots. All in the different POV’s of the many Twilight Characters and their perspective of Edward and Bella’s relationship. Fluff. Of course.
Totally agree with this synopsis. This is exactly what you get. I love the idea of this and once you read it, it brings you straight back to the Twilight books. How gentle Edward was with Bella, how besotted. and how Bella was always pushing him, for more of everything. But it’s so freaking cool b/c it is from everyone’s perspective but theirs. Of course it is T rated, but I supposed that is how canon fics should be right?? This is a quick little read but a very worthy one, I promise.
