You’re Doing It Wrong
There have been whispers in gossip circles recently that there is a certain trio of Twilight actors who are disgruntled by all the fame, fortune, and perks that go along with being Rob, Stew, and TayTay. I’ll take a wild stab in the dark and say OICU, Nikki, Kellan, and Ashley. There was a time when I had a fondness for all three of you, however there is a reason why Rob, Stew, and Tay get the legions of adoring fans and the glory. Besides the fact that they actually have speaking parts in the franchise. You’re doing it wrong…
Let’s start with Klutz. Lainey thinks you’re the worst of the worst. Famewhore, that is. I’m not entirely convinced of that. I think you’re the most inept. How else could the “Curious George Reads Books in Trees” episode be explained? At least you’re holding the book right-side-up. Or when you called the paps to document your recent “walk of shame” with former
beard girlfriend, Annalynne McCord? I’m reluctant to break this to you, Klutz, but no one cares about you and that girl. Honestly, RobstenLover had to explain to me who she was.
I’ll admit, I may be holding a grudge. I’m annoyed that you had the balls to hold-out for more money for Breaking Dawn. You should be paying them for the amount of exposure Twilight gives you. All you really have to do is maintain your physique, which you’d be doing anyway. Some advice: show-up to Twilight events like Jimmy Kimmel, and what-the-hell: all the Twilight conventions that invite you. I’m sure whatever B-movie you’re working on will give you time off. It’ll make you appear humble and appreciative for the good fortune you received when you were cast in the basically non-speaking role that has provided you with the most fame. Fans enjoy humble and appreciative, you know, like Rob, Stew, and Tay are.
Moving on to Nikki. Oh Nikki, I used to think you were the worst, but I think that Ashley may have actually eclipsed *snickers* you in the famewhore and desperation departments, but we’ll get to her in a minute. I can’t remember hearing anything about you lately, other than something about an inordinate amount of pictures of you surfacing at 100 Monkeys shows. Watch your ass, Jackson.
You’re a very attractive young woman, though. More than that I think you might actually be able to act. However, people don’t like shitty friends. You know, the kind of “friend” who would spring the papz on a more famous friend to get attention for themselves. Some advice: stay on the down-low, keep working on movies (good ones, if possible), delete the numbers of the paps and gossip columnists you have saved on your phone, and stop acting like a victim because we know that you’re not. Fans don’t enjoy manipulators.
Last but SO not least we have Ashley. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, dude?!?! We had such high hopes because you seemed so sweet 
and normal. We were even willing to overlook the fact that you suck the air out of every scene you’re in, particularly your scenes with Stew. Then every time we turned around you were naked, or conveniently getting papped making out with Chace Crawford, or partying with Miley Cyrus, or working out with Nicole Richie. Nicole Richie? Really? Your master plan for raising your fame and prestige is hitting the treadmills with one half of a Paris Hilton reality show? If that isn’t enough to make a reasonable person’s head explode, now you’re in luurrrrve with a JoBro whom you are papped with doing everything but wiping your ass? Some advice: Fire your publicist, keep your clothes on, and find yourself a real boyfriend. Fans enjoy people who are genuine.
There are reasons Rob, Kristen, and Taylor are where they are. They are down-to-earth, modest, appreciative, genuine, and for the most part (Taylor is a little iffy on this one) seem to care more about the art than the fame. Master these traits and someday you too may be the star of your own mega franchise.
LOVE the post Cee. So true..lol. I used to love Ashley Green. She plays my favorite twi character aside from E&B. I had such high hopes for you AG…not sure what happened. As far a Nikki, yea I don’t have aything nice to say…so I’ll do what my mom taught me. If I don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all…lol. All I CAN say is I’m NOT a fan. Kellen just plain makes me laugh…don’t even know what to make of him and his gf beard…lol. As you said, the reason I love Rob and Kris is that they are genuine, not your stereotypical hollywood famewhore type. Eh..Taylor I’m on the fence about. I can’t really put him in the same category as R&K. I think the hollywood is coming out in him. I pray that R&K continue to stay true to themselves, I think they will. Grea job on the post! <3

though I will say she is pretty (when dressed in clothes that fit her) oops!

You’ve got the guts to say what I am too chicken to voice outloud. I wanted to say nice things about them because they are involved in the series and all, but gee! Can’t they act like they have brains??
Oh I love this so much! Great post! Although the Ashley hate-tweets and whatnot are uncalled for, I have to agree with you about your take, Cee. She has been going after fame like that prehistoric squirrel going after an acorn on Ice Age! I also had high hopes for her but the route she’s taking .. tsk tsk. I have NO idea about KLutz and Nikki until I read it on here. That’s just sad. They should take their cue from Jack.
When I heard about Ashley and Joe Jonas, I laughed so hard I almost had an accident. Just saying.
When the first film came out,the entire cast had the us against the world relationship. Now that the media focuses more on R/K and Taylor to an extent,I guess Kellan and the others feel like they’ve been pushed to the sidelines. He even said himself when he,Nikki and Ashley were promoting Eclipse in London,that he was glad the focus was on them for a change and not the main three. Even if Rob,Kristen and Taylor weren’t working on their summer movies and appeared at the premire,the press would have forgotten the others were there. It looks like Kellan the girls enjoy Hollywood and all it’s trappings of fame. Unfortunately they’re not getting the character-driven roles that Rob and Kristen are being offered. I think Rob and Kristen will continue to make good movie choices,which may not always be big box office draws and that’s the kind of films I want to see them in. They take on films because the scripts are good,not for the glam/sham,which is what some of their castmates are going for.
I’m glad you wrote this, it had to be said. I’m interested to see how the second tier trio fairs after BD wraps. So far it doesn’t look promising.

Um, see I care so little about them that I didn’t even know any of these rumors. Lol… Ashley partied with Miley? Oh My… that is sad! I will give Nikki her props for going away (for the time being) but I don’t trust her and probably never will.

Okay I will agree about Ashley, obviously and even Kellan but I am a firm believer of what have you done lately and Nikki hasnt done anything but write on her blog about her life and chilled out so at some point ppl have to let go of whatever hostility they feel toward the girl. In reality, no one but Nikki and Rob truly know the full story of what happened between them but Rob is in no way a saint. It takes two to tango and while I think Nikki probably had more hurt feelings since he moved on to her friend and left her in the dust…..reasonable if you ask me, put yourself in her position….I still think the whole situation between her and Rob was blown out of proportion like most of the Twilight rumors and reports are. If she was such a famewhore then why has she constantly denied dating Rob and kept her personal live on the low unlike the other two mentioned? It is the media who try to talk about her. Think about the sources. Ted flip flops whenever he gets the chance on what has happened and is happening, Lainey is a hater, and lets be real they are all gossipers who make a living stirring up crap so should we really take it all to heart?
I do think just based on pics and interviews, plus other situations that Kellan is a celebrity more than an actor. I adore Kellan’s cute dimples and persona at times but he has some diva in him. He skips out on conventions all the time and he has done more than enough to prove that fame is important to him. Ashley is in a league of her own. I dont think there is anything this girl wouldnt do for attention but thats just my opinion.
There is one that I think is right up there with being more interested in fame than acting and that is Taylor Lautner. How many times does the boy have to talk about his abs before someone tells him to give it a rest? We can blame Summit for the overexposure but even before Twilight there were pics of him posing with his shirt up for cameras. He loves the attention and is willing to do a lot for it as well. Also, look at his track record with films in the past couple of years. He did Valentine’s Day then started having pretty public dates with Taylor Swift who was his love interest in the movie including giving little shoutouts to her for the world to see. Now he is with his Abduction costar so either Taylor is just a love sick puppy who falls for his costars or he likes the attention that he and his films get because of it. I think out of the main cast that Kristen and Rob are the ones who just truly love acting as an art. They dont care about the fame or the attention. They just want to act. Peter is pretty chill but he promotes himself on twitter like a PR agent. Elizabeth is just doing her own thing and so is Jackson for the most part….even tho he is mainly about his band….but out of everyone Rob and Kristen are the most focused on acting. I think Nikki gets a lot of crap over something that happened over two years ago and really her talent is completely overshadowed because of it. She writes, directs, acts, and has musical talent and yet ppl only look at her as a pretty face who used to date Rob. The rest is just rumor and gossip from the media with nothing but “sources” that dont have actual evidence to back up their words. Seems like the media and fans are the ones too focused on the negativity from the past then what she has done lately. Read her blog posts about bullying, self image, and making the world a better place then decide for yourself how bad of a person she is. Ashley is the one who completely takes the cake though and the girl next door persona that she introduced the world to when Twilight first came out is completely out the window now.
I whole heartedly agree about Ashley and Kellan. But I disagree about Nikki. This fandom hates on her for things that have happened over a year and a half ago. And lets face it, NO ONE knows what really went down between Kristen, Rob, and Nikki. For all we know, Rob lead Nikki on, and then dumped her for Kristen. Seriously we don’t know and all it is is speculation. Us R/K fans are so blinded by the fact that we love them together, that we make Nikki out to be the bad girl.
As for Nikki being a famewhore, when’s the last time we’ve actually seen her papped? And have any of you actually met her? Kellan and Ashley snub fans all the time, but I’ve never heard of a negative fan meeting with Nikki. When I met her for the NM cast tour, she commented on my friend’s outfit and thanked us for coming and waiting outside in the rain for them.

Oh and I wanted to add about Peter. This man does not get enough attention for all he does for the fans. He is a constant at the Twilight conventions. Plus he always does signings for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. He probably has one of the busiest schedules because he films Nurse Jackie and the Twilight movies around the same time.
@Kimberly Im not a mind reader but of course I agree lol. Peter does pimp himself out at times BUT he does a lot of charity work and signings. He really does want to help others. Why is it that the positive is always overlooked? Because the media doesnt like the positive, they only want negativity. Think of it like the mean girls in high school. They stretch the truth and do whatever they can to spread negativity because unfortunately that gets more hits than hearing about Peter and Nikki helping out charities, Nikki trying to promote young women to be beautiful for who they are and not what the trends say, and really most of the positive things the cast does. It is like I learned while working on the set of a newscast. The media doesnt tell you what to think, but they do tell you what to think about. Take that into account before jumping on the Ted, Lainey, or any other gossipers’ bandwagon.

Fans enjoy people who are genuine.” Couldnt this same advice apply to Tay Tay who is constantly shirtless in movies and talking about his shirtlessness? Shouldnt his publicist be fired for making him sound robotic and dull in interviews plus redundant? And lets talk about his love life. Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and his new costar….all of which he was seen by the papz in very public areas that looked staged since most of the shots were so perfect aka the jumping over stuff while my gf and the papz look on pic. Maybe the double standard applies here too. Why is it that Tay Tay can be seen with different girls who he usually breaks things off with at convenient times…after filming is concluded, after a movie is done being promoted…and yet if Ashley is seen with different guys who she usually doesnt have a business connection with she is a famewhore? I am not defending Ashley. The girl is not my fave by any means but how is that hating on Ashley and Nikki is so much more apparent than someone like Taylor who flaunts what he’s got more than Ashley has? Tay Tay is not modest or humble and lets not even try to call him shy. The boy has been seen in pics lifting up his shirt just for the hell of it. He is not in the same category as Kristen or Rob.
Apparently you guys missed the part where I mention that Taylor is a little iffy on the art as opposed to fame issue. I don’t disagree with you at all, and believe all his public “romances” have been faux. He’s not on the same level with Rob & Stew. However, he’s not out being papped 24/7 either. And he manages to not sound too full of himself in interviews.
But when was the last time that you have seen Nikki papped 24/7? After NM filming she pretty much dropped off the face of the earth to go do her own thing and even made sure no one talked about where she was even tho the papz tried finding her on several occasions. And lets be honest, Tay Tay has had his fair share of 24/7 papped experiences but they were more during NM and Eclipse filming. This is why I think Nikki being mentioned for something almost two years ago that was solely based on speculation while Tay Tay has had plenty of interviews talking about how hard he had to work out, his diet, etc which I would consider being full of yourself when you do it for most of promoting and that is the number one thing that you talk about, is completely unfair. All of the things brought up about Nikki were rumors that swirled around during the Twilight days. Robsten fans of all ppl should know not to believe everything that you read so why is it that ppl are willing to jump on Nikki for a “source” saying she did something when a “source” will turn around and make up tons of BS about Robsten? It just seems like because she might have hooked up with Rob at one point…something neither of them have confirmed at any point… ppl are willing to make her a villian and all based on gossip that would be called just rumors if it had to do with Robsten. I just think it should be fair. Ashley has brought her drama on herself and so has Kellan with their BD negotiations, etc. but Nikki has been low key since NM and yet ppl dont want to let the girl just be. The double standard in how that works is just baffling to me. It just seems it is easier for women to be catty toward other women than to call men on the same BS. Kellan’s was obvious but lets not pretend that there arent plenty of rumors that swirled around about Rob that were just discarded because he was Rob. Like KStew said, Rob can say anything and get off pretty easy for it but let one of the women of the cast say something and suddenly all hell breaks loose, so sad!
Nikki hasn’t denied anything w R. All she’s said is he was never her boyfriend. Which he probably wasn’t.
My take: Single people doing single things. Single boy decides he doesn’t want to be single anymore, but wants a different girl to be his gf. Feelings hurt. The end. Relationships are messy sometimes. That’s life and we’ve all been there.
I don’t think Nikki is the worst but some of her past actions seem a bit sketch. I.E. its interesting now that she isn’t as much in R/K’s clique that they are photographed by paps less. But I agree she’s been getting better.

Ashley is sorta ridiculous and obviously loves all of the attention her fame is getting her but those hate filled tweets I read about her being RAPED and KILLED are totally uncalled for and the only reason I can see that some evil & disturbed person/people sent those are bcuz they don’t want her with the little Jonas boy. Newsflash to those people: Even if he wasn’t with her- he wouldn’t be with you.
Kellan reminds me of an overzealous frat boy. I think he is capitalizing on his looks (and he IS a cutie)& Twilight fame but I don’t think he takes his acting “career” seriously at all.
Nikki. . .hmm. . .she really reminds me a lot of her Rosalie character. I’m not a big fan of hers either but I have to say I think that she gets a bad rap too. People think she kept Rob & Kristen from being together. Correct me if I’m wrong but Kristen had a boyfriend at the time, no? I honestly think Rob “hung out” with her (whatever that means to you) to get closer to Kristen and I think Nikki read more into it and it all went terribly wrong after Kristen became available bcuz we all know how that story ended.
Taylor Lautner is a little puppy who thinks he’s a big dog. But I have to admit I don’t think anyone could play a better Jacob. That role was made for him. And if you had a million women (or men)screaming for you everywhere you went, your ego would get a little inflated too- people handle fame differently, like you said none of these people are Rob or Kristen.
Being in the public eye and having people pass judgment on you regardless to whether you’re “asking for it” or not has to be hard for anyone. I wonder what the hell they would say about ME if they had the chance.

Im glad Im not the only one on here who was a bit surprised about this post. I think at the end of the day, a lot of the reasons given were based on speculation or rumors from gossip columns. Everyone can make up their own opinion on what really goes on behind the scenes but none of us know the truth. The only way we get most of this information isnt even from the horse’s mouth. Its from gossipers, papz, and “sources” that play the he said she said game, not all of it but a big chunk of public opinion is based on the media’s portrayal and they make money to swing it whichever way they feel is best.

People will choose to believe what they want. However, the truth becomes pretty plain to see when said actor/actresses hijack interviews, are constantly photographed practically naked and in staged photo ops. How SHOCKING is that?!
It’s their choice to do as much as they can while they’re in the limelight. The way they go about it leaves a lot to be desired though. That’s the point of the post.

When it really comes down to it, and yes I’m gonna say it. No one wants to see Edward with Rosalie. I’ve always thought that’s where the Nikki hate originated because she plays Rosalie who is an unlikeable character. This blog also gives Edward/Bella fanfiction recommendations, and this is a R/K blog. Yes, you can argue that Rob and Kristen play Edward and Bella, but when it comes down to it, they most definitely are NOT Edward and Bella.
I know before someone comments and says, no one forces me to read this blog and if I don’t like it I shouldn’t visit this site. But I do like it, it’s just this post that I disagreed with.
I don’t dislike Nikki b/c of maybe/maybe not relationships or b/c of a character. I dislike people who feel the need to name drop. I dislike that when she hung out regularly w/ R & K they were constantly photographed and now that she doesn’t they somehow someway can fly almost totally under the radar. Why do you think that is?
All I was addressing that I was shocked about was the fact that people seemed to think Nikki and Rob actually were together considering it was started at gossip websites. Not all that other stuff that goes along with it. No big deal.
Im not shocked by anything in this fandom. How can we be when some of the fans in it are so out there that it is laughable. Like most fandoms of this caliber there are some obvious extremes.
I really shouldnt be either then should I? lol Not talking about this blog but there are some fansites out there that the posts and comments are so completely embarrassing I still cant explain why I still go there.
@pel If there can be a post bashing three stars that none of us actually know, then yes I think it is reasonable to believe some ppl will post their views on why they dont agree. That is what happens with a blog. You post your opinion and ppl dont have to agree with it. I dont think any of us are blowing anything out of proportion or need to “dial it down a bit.” Some of us simply dont agree and are stating why we dont, but yes some fans are quite funny.

@aimzers84 I agree and I think there is always a line, some sites cross it, some just straddle it, but I tend to gravitate more toward the ones that do their best to keep things positive. I like this site though and I dont mind the negativity every once in a while. I know it is all in good fun but like I said before, I dont have to agree and it is fun to see what others think. Nothing wrong with a good debate, but yea some sites out there just freak me out. There are some extremists to say the least.
@Snwngt Name dropping? If you were doing an interview and someone ask you about your projects and what you are working on, and you answer, is that name dropping? Or if the interviewer blatantly ask you a question about someone, and you answer is that name dropping as well?
Rob and Kristen both said that they’ve gotten better at hiding from the paps. That is one of the factors in them not being papped as much.

Yes. They are better at hiding and they don’t have a friend that likes her picture taken. That helps too.
Name dropping is not being asked about a friend. It is being asked a question that has nothing to do with that person and just happening to bring them up. Which Nikki has done many many many times.

All we are doing is having an adult discussion. I dont see how thats beating a dead horse. There have been other people posting and discussing as well. We both agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion and have been acting nothing but civil about it.
If blogs were made for no one to express an opinion than comments would be turned off!

@Bearlve wow I didnt think it would annoy you so much to see us having an actual conversation on this site. You do know you dont have to read our comments right? It is all optional and it seems most of us have been able to comment in a civil way. That is a big part of what a blog site is for, which is why there is a comment section in the first place. Just like when all that drama went down on that other site and the bloggers here decided to post their frustrations about it. People commented agreeing or disagreeing, so why would this be any different? You dont have to agree with us but it would be nice to be respectful to everyone on this site even if you dont like what they have to say.
@Snwngt I get what you are saying about name dropping but most of what you are talking about has happened in the past. For the past year, Nikki has been doing her own thing and living her life. Yes if in an interview they ask her what she is doing then she tells them what she directed or what her next project is. All actors and celebs do that. If that is a crime then Peter, Jackson, Kristen, and Rob are just as guilty. I think it is nice that they are excited about working on things outside of Twilight. We all know they fear getting stuck in the Twilight typecast forever so I think the more projects they do the better especially if they want to be taken seriously. When Kristen found out she was going to play Joan Jett, she gushed about it during interviews because she was excited. Sometimes we read too much into what is going on. If Nikki is happy with a project or Jackson is happy promoting his band, or Peter tells ppl on his twitter to vote for his character in Nurse Jackie, why hate on that? Maybe we all take them too seriously because I know if I was in that situation I wouldnt be able to be perfect or not make my mistakes in the fame game especially with the media spinning every joke or sarcastic comment the way that they do.
We are defined by all of our actions not just some. Great she has learned but her past actions have left a bad taste in some people’s mouths. That’s life. If she has totally changed than yes eventually people won’t mention it anymore.

I guess we all have personal bias to take into account as well. I can admit that there have been times when KStew says something in an interview or Rob does and I give them the benefit of the doubt. I guess some ppl just arent willing to do that with Nikki. A lot of hearts were involved with that situation….if there was an actual situation….including Nikki, Rob, Kristen, and Kristen’s ex. It was bound to happen that people would take sides. I get what you are saying but at some point I just wonder when ppl let things go and stop searching for negativity when it happened almost two years ago. In media times, that is pretty ancient but reporting on the positive things Nikki has done like raising money for poor kids to have book supplies and taking a stand against cyber bulling along with other forms of it just is boring compared to a might or might not have happened fling that only gossip columnists are still willing to bring up like it is front page news. I understand your side of it though.
DON’T SHOOT the MESSENGER…I don’t know how true this is, but this chick I know who thinks she knows everything (trouble is she’s usually right ARGHHH!)told me like ages ago the “real story”, according to her, of how the Rob/Nikki rumor got started. According to Miss Know Everything the rumor got started because Stew’s then boyfriend MA was coming to visiton set. Stew apparently confided in friend Nik that the BF was super insecure about the chemistry between the co-stars (which is really all Rob and Kris were at the time albeit very close, by all accounts.) Rob was after Kris and supposedley told her “I am going to steal you away from him”, but that he would never hurt her by letting him believe there was something going on between them when it wasn’t. Then she supposedly said “yeah, well if all this $#*+ keeps up, he’ll probably break up with me-you’ve noooo idea how F—-ing sick of this $#*+ he is…Know it All claims that’s when the idea was hatched to go out on a “double date” to throw him off the idea that there was anything to the rumors. After the date Stew and BF went one way; Nik and Rob another; only he walked her back to where she was staying and then he went to his hotel (He couldn’t stay in the same place as the other cast members.)The date was spotted and this got out as tabloid fodder and a new rumor mill began churning out a rash of headlines.”Rob plays Nikki while Kristen’s away”-”Rob Dumps Nikki For Kristen” “Rob’s Breaking Nikki’s Heart”. So why does Nikki deny the relationship? Because none of these true; because they were never together-she was just being a friend. And it actually worked for while, but KStew’s BF must have seen what everybody else did. There was something between them, brewing on the surface, ready to explode-too hot to handle…And Robsten was eventually born. So there you have it. Let me know if you think “Know-it-All” is blowing smoke up my butt.

I don’t think R or K are perfect and they deal with the same stuff. Kristen deals with it daily whether blogs or magazines.
But like I said if Nikki’s changed great.
Whatever happened with Nikki, Rob and Kristen it is between the three of them. I know am stating the obvious when I say this but it just speaks volumes when you see how Rob reacts to Nikki now. He avoids her like the plague. I think whatever happened changed the friendship between Nikki and Kristen as well. They have not been as chummy since Rob and Kristen became a couple.
HAHaHA-too bad she won’t come on line! Damn it-I’d love for her to see these, but then again I just called her back and told her everyone says she’s full of $#*+! (Hope you guys don’t mind me paraphrasing-LOL) She simply said “uh-hum, sure I am-just like always.” BTW it’s not ALWAYS-However She has said something and it turned out to be right about other people before it hit the airways or made print and it’s a bit annoying. Then I saw this post and it mentioned Nikki and the others and alluded to the old Rob thing.She said this stuff so long ago butwhen I read the post I remembered it (well some of it-I did have to call her to get it right) and I think she actually stuck to her story. So I figured now was my chance to get her! But give me something to say to her that blows out her story.There has to something concrete that sinks it or at least unsettles it. @Snwngt I am talking about their personal lives because their personal lives are what most people maybe not you but most people bring up in their reasoning for liking or not liking them. Look at this post, most of it is about who they date, what they do behind the scenes, etc so yes I think most people who base their opinions arent just going based on their bodies of work and interviews. They are going based on what they assume could be happening behind the scenes. In reality, even with the papz constantly hounding celebs, we only get a quick look into their lives which means we can never get the full story unless the actors give it to us. All I am saying is that it seems to be easier to talk about these three and their flaws and somehow Rob, Kristen, and Taylor get free passes at times when every member of this cast at some point has done something that puts them in a less favorable light. If we arent supposed to be bringing up their personal lives then we are on the wrong blog because most of the time there is plenty of entertainment gained because of Robsten’s personal lives. None of us really know what has gone down, it is all speculation and rumors that usually get blown out of proportion. I know this post was just to poke fun at the expense of these three but I was just stating why I didnt think they were the only ones who could be seen in a negative light.

I believe Nikki gets unnecessary hating.
We had an encounter with her where a passer by freak yelled: whore at her…she was really affected.I still cannot forget the sad expression while she took the time to thank and sign stuff for EVERY single fan. I think she is nice and is just trying to work.
She denied having a fling with Rob and I believe the media vilified her and exaggerated things for the sake of getting publicity and attention for their blogs.
But so what if she had a thing with Rob, I will certainly not say no to Rob if he was available, which he was in the time which the Nik/Rob rumor started.
Why hate on Nik?
We do this TOO MUCH! case in point: look at the Angelina, Jennifer and Brad thing. The public and the media goads us on to vilify the ladies and leaves Brad untouched and nearly holy. Not saying that this means that we should give Rob flack. I just don’t like unnecessary animosity.
I am a Robsten shipper who does not believe in giving Nikki a hard time.
I like Nikki she is a free spirit, pretty lady that is just trying to make it in the brutal biz.
Oh and PS. @Rachelle I dig what you wrote-it made me laugh and today was a sad day for me so Thanks this is a fun distraction. But in truth my “know-it-all” friend may not come online but our friends do and they know who I mean. I cannot disrepect her, even in the interest of plausibilty. Long before tabloids hid behind the use of “a source” or came up with “an Insider”; all terms they distorted from the Edward R. Murrow’s of the day, there was respect. hope you can appreciate that. I see what you are saying. If you sit back and look, you can sit there and nit pick about any actor from Twilight. It just depends on how you view them. I know of a girl from another site you has a passion for disliking Rob and Kristen and lets her feelings be known. Her reasoning for disliking them is all 100% based on the fact that she hates how they portray themselves in the limelight (meaning they avoid it like the plague) She thinks that they should be MORE like the other actors and putting themselves in from of cameras for often and criticizes them often. So I guess it all depends on your view on how famous people should and should not act.
I still stick to my view that I’d like to give Ashley a good smack lately though

Nikki, Kellan, and Ashley are no where near as famous as the other three. So you’ll have to excuse me that Kristen gets a “free pass” at times? In what universe. She has experienced a level of hatred/villification from fans and the press that no other female twi member has.
@Barb Ever think that it was something that Rob did to make him avoid her? He could have done her wrong. I’ve been scorned by people and they don’t want to come near me. LOL
But I do have to say, it’s nice that three of them have been professional with whatever went down between them. Didn’t Kristen go up to Nikki and give her a hug at the Scream Awards?

@Snwngt I think you are right about Kristen getting the most hatred from the press, but from the fans I don’t really think so. If you were to poll Twilight fans on their most disliked cast member, I think that with recent events it would be tied between Nikki and Ashley. If it was done a month ago, I think that Nikki would definitely win.
Relationships end. Friendships end. People do dumb things in their 20s. Nothing that went on in their lives is abnormal. Whatever happened was years ago. Rob and Kristen have been together for what like a year and a half or something.
I don’t hate Nikki. I just dont think about her except when she’s on the Twilight screen. I swear some fans spend more time thinking about a silly hookup than the people who were involved who have clearly moved on.
So why don’t we follow their lead.
Sigh. I have very little to say on the subject, except, perhaps that I’m a bit surprised at the drama. I’m iffy on Nikki because of certain pictures, i.e, the touch the junk, the Sage concert lecture, etc. I’m sure her laying low has been a good thing, for her and the franchise. As for the others, well, I’d venture to say we won’t remember their names in 10 years…
C2R, I agree with you and some early posters. Actually, many of us share the same thought but you have the balls to say it out loud on a Robsten blog. Good job, girl, since I know there will be some responses calling for not focusing on -ve things or stuff like that.
Humbleness, genuineness and having pure passion in acting are qualities that I love about R/K. To me, the other Twilight actors are just so Holloywood and not worth my time. Well, to a certain extend, showing abs/bodies, kssing fans’ ass, always waering a fake smile or informing papz their whereabouts are typical behaviors in show business, so I won’t blame Taylor & Klutz. But Ashley is just soooooooo desparate that I really can’t stand her. There’s nothing wrong you try to get yourself some jobs but it’s about your acting skills after all, not the frequency of appearing on gossip blogs for Christ’s sake!~ Don’t expect people take you seriously if you don’t respect yourself as an actor.
It’s a good thing for Nikki to become more low-key recently. I really hate that gossip bloggers, e.g. Ted, imply Rob & her had a thing. God, don’t we know Rob laid his eyes on Kristen on day 1? Maybe Rob and her went out for a date or two once, but nothing like BF/GF relationship I guess.
I like Peter though. He seems to be a nice person. Remember his big hug to Kristen on the stage of MTV Movie Award? I believe he tried to show some support to Kristen after she had some really hard time. I heart him for that.

this nikki…maybe shes a good girl now but i dont trust her. we will see her true face after twilight ends and no more confidentiality contract. she speacks politically corect about everyone in the cast but is very cold about kristen. i sow a papp footage with her and rob in the past and i was very surprised the way she look in to the camera while holding her hand on rob shoulder, making sure that paps capture everything. Or excuse me, but Kristen and Rob never do that and they are really a cuple. In a recent mtv interview she kiss everybodys ass in the cast, except kristen. and she talk about how good friend she is with Michael Angarano. why would she do that? she has no project with him, so makes no sense to me.
She tries to keep the mistery about what was in the past, just because she knows this will keep her in the spotlights
I was reading some of the comments and I noticed that A LOT of people mentioned the thing that supposedly went down between Rob, Kristen, and Nikki and that’s supposedly why all of us don’t particularly like her. I, for one, don’t entirely believe those rumors and I didn’t even know about them before I decided that I didn’t like her. Although, I do think that Nikki felt some sort of attraction towards Rob (or his fame) and he never really payed attention to her. I wanted to clear up that not everybody is completely biased on that story, I don’t like the girl because she constantly name drops, always tries to portray herself as the victim, and just the way she is urks the hell out of me.
Oh, and another thing, I also noticed people mentioning that Nikki does charity work? Alright, if she cares SO much, why would she be publicizing every single charity she helps with? She’s always so wonderfully photographed doing great things for people, she obviously wants to gain fame from the charity work. Or, at least that’s how I portray it. A person who was honestly concerned with bullying and bringing world peace wouldn’t do it so that the public can clearly see it.
Just wanted to say I enjoyed the article. But I take a little softer position re: Ashley in some respects & Nikki in others.
First of, I believe these three did themselves a disservice by holding out. But I respect them for it because this is a business and Summit has made billions w/out forking out the money for production. No they’re not worth near what the top 3 receive but 1.5 mill each isn’t going to kill Summits pocket and they should have paid them that considering all the publicity they do for the movie. So, I don’t have a problem gettting a couple more bucks but I had a problem of the amounts being quoted i.e. 2 million. They weren’t worth that much. Standing in the background in a scene is like being an extra with a familiar face. The lines aren’t there. Only an A lister would get 2 million for making a cameo because it’ll put butts in the seats. Neither one of these 3 were worth 2 million each.
Secondly, I think Nikki is accomodating to the fans. I have never heard of any bad fan encounters with her – ever. Now her deal with calling the paps when she’s out w/Rob & Kristen, I believe she did. But now they don’t hang out together like the used to so Nikki is really a moot point now. I think she’ll do a great job as Rosalie and I’m looking forward to her perfomance. She’s been keeping her head down, directing videos, making movies and doing her Twilight promotional duties. There’s been nothing going on negative, today, with Nikki so I think we all need to give her the benefit of the doubt and leave her be. What she did in the past is past. Now if she does it now, then we’ll have something to b*tch about. For now, I’m willing to let Nikki be. I don’t see her famewhoring at this time.
Kellan…oh Kellan. I think Mr. Calvin Klein model man head has swollen a bit. But if you’re on the side of one of the biggest and prime billboard’s in the world, well, you’re head could get a little swole I guess. However, you were in a bad remake of a classic horror movie recently so it all balances out. He wants to be an action star…he wants what Taylor has and so far, he’s not getting it. Quite frankly, I think Kellan and Ashley should drop their management team because their reputations have yet to recover from the Twilight debacle. But that’s just my opinion. Let’s see if the Romanesck picture he’s in will do something for his career.
Ms. Ashley…famewhore? I think she is slightly. Not as much as you all think but is she really different than any other typical Hollywood starlet? One thing we need to understand is that is Ashley really doing anything outside of the typical Hollywood box…I say no. So, it makes her normal in her world.
See, what we have a tendency to do is compare every to Rob and Kristen and how they handle the Hollywood game which we all admire but is what she doing wrong? I don’t think so.
1. Her dating habits: First of all, Ashley is a young adult who would normally be in college. How many guys do you think she would date then. Just because she’s in a public eye, people make more out of it then needed. Heck, I remember my college days and Ashley doesn’t have anything on me *blushes*.
So she kissed Chase. So she’s dating a JoBro. Good for her. Her situation is way different than Rob and Kristen. She and her JoBro man don’t care to hide out somewhere. They want to go to the restaurants they want to, shop at the stores they want to shop. Heck, can’t the girl get an ice cream cone without being hassled?
I think her and the JoBro are a little more closer than anyone thinks. This guy has had Ashley go out to dinner with his mother. Ashley has taken him to her family’s home in Florida. Is she really being a famewhore dating this guy? From my perspective, NO. These two appear to be a real couple. You don’t visit families like this and you’re not serious. Do you think Chase went to Florida to visit Ashley’s family? Uh, I think not. Will it last, who knows. But I think these two are real. No they’re not Rob and Kristen, they are who they are. Heck the girl lives in NY as well and they still find her and pap her. So what do you want the girl to do?
Now as for Ashley wanting the fame because she’s Ms. Alice, that’s another story. I think she wants Kristen’s adoration because remember, she auditioned to be “Bella” and wanted that part badly. I think there’s something in the back of her mind saying, “that should have been me” when it comes to Kristen.
But who are we to put her down for getting work. She’s a beautiful girl. She should be on magazine covers. Her half nude shots are beautiful. This is us being prudish Americans. Heck, if she was in Europe this wouldn’t be a big deal i.e. Rob’s Detail spread. Only us in America had a problem with Rob doing it. It’s all the rage and normal in Europe to do a spread like that as a matter of fact, it’s more tamed. Even if you watch America’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks has plenty of nude and half nude photo shoots because that’s what they do as models especially in Europe.
Photos are art in my mind. And if she takes a picture with or without clothes then so be it. It’s a job, she’s getting paid and she’s not hurting anyone. Ashley’s an actress who models as well. We shouldn’t put her down for doing her job. She’s beautiful girl with a great body, go for it before you’re too old to show it like that anymore.
I just think Ashley is a bit jealous of Kristen because she wanted the role as “Bella” and didn’t get it. I believe Ashley doesn’t live her life any differently then the rest of the Hollywood young starlets do. Remember that the Twilight cast is the hottest thing out here and people pay good money to get a picture or a story about them be it true or false to sell their mags or get hits on their blogs.
From how you’re writing this, you’re saying that Ashley is seeking out the paps which I don’t think is true. Remember they camp outside their homes and follow them in cars. The radio each other to track the stars down. Should Ashley hide out, NO, do your thing, go where you want to, live your life. Do I think she doesn’t mind being papped like Rob and Kristen, no. I don’t think she minds it. Does it make her a famewhore? I don’t know.
I don’t think so because it’s part of her world and she’s just living it.
As for her treatment with fans, I don’t know. But I advise her to think about what her career will be like in 2013 when the Twilight gig is over. Maybe DVD promotions will keep her in the spotlight a little longer so let’s say 2014. I do know she has a lot of movies in the can. So we’ll see what her performance is in these movies that are outside of Alice. I hope it’s good so it’ll break her out of the Twilight mode and get people to look at her from a different perspective. Plus she needs to find a way to let the “I should have been Bella” thing go.
So out of the three, I think Kellan wants the fame the most IMO. Climbing a tree is a bit nutty. He needs to leave the Anna chick alone because she’s a typical Hollywood young starlet who is in it for the fame and not for the art of acting clearly. He needs to find a non-stick thin Hollywood blonde and find a girl that’s cute and down to earth. Someone not in the spotlight. Maybe a writer. Someone cerebral. I think that would give him more cred with the fans. He needs to not want to think he’s on Taylor’s level. Take some small roles in action films. Build his cred up. Stay away from B horror films. Take smaller roles in big movies. He wants to be a lead actor before his time. I think he should do a comedy as well. He’s got the chops.
Sorry for the length of my thoughts. But yes I think these three have issues, but nothing that cannot be rectified and certainly not as bad as represented.
