RLC Fic Rec – Little Fish, Big Fish
Hello, my fellow fic readers! I got a major treat for you today! I’m reccing you a story that is truly something special, and I hope you all agree with me on this one. I’m talking about Little Fish, Big Fish by Michele M Marie and Paige Parrker.
Author’s synopsis: Collab between Paige Parkker BPOV & Michelle M Marie EPOV.A/H OOC Follows the life of Bella and Edward as they meet in high school, eventually parting painfully, only to reunite as adults – in very different circumstances. M for lang. & lemony awesomeness.
If any of you read a story called Unexpected by Ooohlalaaa, you will adore this fic. It’s hilarious with a very original Bella, who you cannot help but absolutely love. The girl has her own sense of style, self, and speak. She comes into town towing Jasper with her. They grew up together, much like hippies. And they are inseperable. Two peas in a pod! (You’ll see what I mean by this) And she blows Edward away when she shows up to Forks High School, all because of how different she is from the regular girls that hang out there. Bad thing is, Edward has some hang-ups about who he’s with. This keeps him from letting things progress with Bella. When they finally make some headway, Edward yet again cockblocks himself. Not to mention he breaks Bella’s heart. Flashforward some fifteen years when they meet up again, but the two are very different now. But they never forgot about one another. That’s where the story is at. It’s not yet complete, but I can’t wait to see what happens. So many great things to say about this story. Like the humor of it. Where can you find lines like these?
Have to give mad props to Mother Nature. That bitch had a cure for everything.
Tiny chariots of disappointment..
The writing is great. This story is so very freaking funny at times! But it seems to have hit an angsty high right now. It is still a work in progress. I must reiterate how great Bella is in this one. So free and sensual and special. Edward is completely besotted for her. And hot. Lord is that boy hot for her! But anyway, I’ll let you all find out for yourselves. This story may be flying under the radar, I think. It doesn’t have many reviews. The regular cast of characters are in attendance. A notable standout is Esme. The lady is super cool in this one. Rosalie is at her bitchiest.

I gotta quick question. I have been (only slightly) obsessive bout this whole fanfic thing. You are my go to guide on what to check out because there is so much out there, I will definitely find time to check this out. But could you give me a quick rundown on these damn acronyms??? I figured M is where the money shots are. hehe. But what the hell is a lemon, etc. I figured out the one shot term, but if you could help me navigate what the hell these terms mean? I might be able to find more asscandy that way! Cheers!
I may read this (is the painfull parting very painfull and long?) Also, and this has no bearing on the fic itself but it always annoys me when the banners show Rob as Edward but not Kristen as Bella. What´s up with that!?
The little letters can be confusing til you get the hang of them lol. M stands for Mature rating. Like PG or T, which is the same as a G rating. WIP is an acronym for Work In Progress. C is Complete. Hope this helps! Enjoy the story and I’m glad I’m doing my part by giving good recs
I know what you mean by the banners lol. I guess some writers either don’t see Kristen-Bella as Bella or they just needed a certain pic for their banner? Lol also the seperstion isn’t long at all. From one chapter to the next they flash forward the 15 years into the future.
I friggin’ love that banner.
