RLC Fic Rec – Fics by ItzMegan73
Have you ever read something and think it’s so great you can’t rec it enough? And then the story sticks with you for days so you immediately go and see what else the writer has written and want to inhale that as well? This is what happened to me when I read The Tutor last year. This isn’t the fic I’m reccing but I do want to rec the stories that it lead me to because they are so very freakin good. (Although The Tutor is amazing as well!) When I was done reading The Tutor, its writer Itzmegan73 was in the process of starting two other stories, A Rough Start and The Cannabean Betrothal. Anyone who knows the way I read fics knows I try my best to wait til the story has at least 20 chapters under its belt before I read them. So for a whole year I had this lady’s other stories under alerts, letting the chapters pile up. A couple of weeks ago I heard they were ending so I promptly bumped them up on my list of to-be-read fics. I was not disappointed with these two. Itzmegan73 consistently delivers quality stories with everything you can possibly want in a story great characters, good development, perfect pacing and nicely bitter lemons. How she does this, I have no idea. I’m just grateful. All three of her fics are completely different stories:
Authors synopsis for The Tutor: New student Bella Swan needs to break out of her shy exterior and her guidance counselor has the answer: tutoring. And Bella is too new to know she shouldn’t want to tutor Edward Cullen.
Authors synopsis for A Rough Start: Overnight irresponsible Edward goes from bachelor to father of a 5 yr old. Meanwhile responsible, prepared Bella begins her first job as Kindergarten teacher at Forks Elementary. When irresponsible meets the epitome of responsible, sparks will fly!
Authors synopsis for The Cannabean Betrothal: Edward has immersed himself in the Cannabean way to ward off the hurt of a life-changing experience; but an unexpected betrothal teaches him how little he knows about life.
The Tutor is the only one of these stories that is complete. It’s a great high school fic! It makes my list of Top 5 Fav Fics. A Rough Start is excellent and very realistic. The Cannabean Betrothal just might be one of the more unique TwiFics ever written. It’s sort of an Amish take on Edward and Bella, trying each other out to see if they want to marry but following the ways of the Cannabean lifestyle. Everything is very conservative; Bella cannot show her bare feet! This should give you an idea. But it ends up being sexy somehow and of course lemons occur because, of course Edward and Bella will be happy to marry one another. Ok, no more spoilers from me! These last two are WIPs but like I said above, they are nearing completion. I cannot speak highly enough of this writer. In fact, you should check out her stories, they say much more than I ever could!

One of my fav fic writers! THe Cannabean Betrothal is one of my fav fics EVER (after UoEM of course
) and I loved The Tutor and ARS as well. She’s great and I’d suggest everyone to read her fics.

I do not know where to start with ItzMegan…Our love affair started when I was left broken hearted after I found out that a previous fic that I was falling for will be no more.
To mend my fic break up, I ventured to twilighted and for the heck of it started reading : A rough start, since then Itzmeghan is my number 1 fic LOVAH….Read them all ficlovers…Really!…Go now!
