Blissfully Unaware
This week I unfollowed anyone on my Twitter feed that used the words foam or froth, or discussed any of the hate being spewed by the nonsensical nonbelievers regarding Rob & Stew. I really don’t understand why anyone in the Robsten fandom pays any mind to those kinds of peeps at this point. I couldn’t care less what nonfans think of Rob & Stew. Their opinion does not affect the life of my inner-fangirl in the least. I get enough grief from my hubs for shipping a celebrity couple; I certainly don’t need complete strangers on Twitter, forums, and blogs to kill my buzz when I’m lookin’ to get my swoon on!
I am confident and steadfast in my affection for my favorite couple, and nothing anyone says will change that. I no longer need convincing that they are in fact a couple, because there is no question. I also don’t need any proof that they are indeed in-love, and not just “friends with benefits” (excuse me while I roll my eyes up inside my head). Anyone with two eyes can see that these young 
lovers are in deep, and I couldn’t be happier! So I don’t want to see or know what those who choose not to believe think or say. I would much rather squee & swoon at RobstenLove with my friends than waste my days in the pit wrestling with the drama mamas. My time is valuable and limited.
I’ve heard all of the arguments before: their relaysh is casual, or it’s for PR. Shippers are all idiots, sheep, ducks, whatevs – yadda, fucking, yadda. They can call me what they want if that helps them sleep better at night. I. Don’t. Care. They are such a TINY fraction of the fandom that they are easy to ignore. So when people tease them, allude to them, poke them, or provoke them it only validates their position and makes them seem larger than they really are. Trust me when I tell you ignorance is best in this case! Maybe if we all agree to act like they don’t exist, maybe eventually they won’t. There would be no platform or audience for their nonsense. If a hyena bear farts in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? I don’t know, and I don’t care. I am blissfully unaware, and loving every minute of it!
THIS so needed to be said!!! Truly. I don’t have the time or the patience for all the conflict. I just want to fangirl over cute coupley pix (or K’s shoes) and/or drool over Rob’s jaw, fingers, eyes, hair—okay, all of him. I like this approach—simply enjoy the best parts of this fandom—and ignore the rest.
Awesome post HEA!! I couldn’t agree more, you nailed it right on the head. I come online to get away from RL drama. Why would I want to then come online to a shit load more. I’m supposed to be escaping it, not adding to it. Thanks RLC for giving me a place that is drama free, where we can just talk about the couple we love..and enjoy the company of people who feel the same way. <3

Exactly why I come to this blog every day–positive vibes from people who believe in and love Robsten!! I have enough drama and crap in RL, this is my escape!! This is one of the two Robsten blogs that I check everyday; both are positive, supportive, and hilarious, and neither one allow drama or bullsh*t, which I sooo appreciate!! Awesome post, HEA, and bravo to the team here!!
Thanks for this post. This is so true. Poking and proding the haters is just instigating them and giving them a reason to continue.

AMEN! SISTA! I absolutely agree! It’s just like when a child teases another~if the one being teased doesn’t react, then the teaser looses interest…i.e. … if all Twilighters ignored all haters, maybe the haters would finally get bored & go away~or at least move on to their next meanspirited focus. Anyway! I believe in Robsten & have never doubted! I love kstew & rpatz! Thanks for the validation!

Good post, HEA, on a timely topic I think it speaks volumes of the character of a person, whether one takes pleasure in engaging in the nonsten bashing or is simply happy with enjoying the good times. Just because you fangirl or boy Robsten doesn’t unfortunately mean you’re a decent person
i realy hope from all my heart that they are indeed in love and that their relationship lasts and not for that PR shit because i truly believe they were meant for each other and nothing really matters when you find you’r soul mate
Hi! I am a lurker and first time poster and I love your blog! I agree wholeheartedly with this post. I just wonder if it is really possible to ignore people who log on and post crazy ass comments on a fan site? I guess it would be up to the individual blog to maybe block those comments? I personally don’t even understand WHY someone would even visit a site dedicated to people who they obviously hold in contempt. I don’t get it. I really don’t. I guess it’s to get the “believers” all riled up and it’s been working, unfortunately.
I have to admit when I see the comments it pisses me off too because most of it is just so idiotic and hateful but I have NEVER responded to them. I usually just lurk and try to stay above the fray.
I know celebrity couples come and go but call me crazy because I don’t know Robert or Kristen personally but I just get this “feeling” about the two of them. What they have just seems so real and so pure not like most of the manufactured BS we see with other couples (and I use that term loosely). I hope they are together for a long time and can withstand whatever life throws at them together or a part.
I am loving this post! its totally my mental attitude when it comes to bashing(To be or Not to be?), Its a choice if you want to make a hate comment. Its so draining on emotion to invest your time to read the negative things they have to say. And who would have that kind of time to visit sites and leave msgs.(and its all about hate), I love this post, HEA! that is why I follow only 3 twitter in account of R/K and its all about LOVE. You can really ignore them and the power is one delete click away, RLC is a place I go to all my Robsten and Twi-saga info and RLC is drama free(thanks to the Admins&Mods).

Kudos for this post. As I am sure we all know by now, haters will be haters. Nikki Reed did a post on her blog about all of the hate and bullying that goes on and she said it mostly has to do with not having accountability which I agree with. People will say the craziest things while behind their computers, hidden from the people they are attacking. The best thing we can do is ignore them and spread the message of love and tolerance. I love this blog and definitely this post. The Twi fandom is enormous so it is no surprise that there are haters, but the hate on Robsten, Kristen, Nikki, and mainly the females of the cast is just ridiculous. It is nothing but hatred, ignorance, and lack of respect for not only the cast but for yourself when you say such things. As awareness spreads, I hope that there will be less haters out there bullying people over the internet but haters are going to hate. It is the only way they feel empowered.

This is one of the best posts I have read and I couldn’t agree more. I will never understand how the Nonnies/haters spend so much time and energy spewing ridiculous rhetoric against people they don’t know. Boggles the mind. I prefer to believe in my heart and mind that Rob and Kristen and happy, healthy and completely in love.
Btw, I think most sensible people saw them as a couple in love (for sure) in 2009. It’s so freaking obvious.

Totally agree- I don’t understand the haters at all but I also don’t understand why people pay attention. If you come across crazy in real life you ignore it and get as far away from it as you can as fast as you can- you don’t poke at it to make it crazier. I realize that there are bloggers and fans on Twitter etc who have been personally attacked by the haters and it must be very very hard not to get provoked and fight back. But acknowledging their hatred and their existence makes it seem like they’re a much bigger part of the fandom than they are. Ignoring them is definitely bliss!

Agreed!! I try my hardest to ignore those kinds of people on Twitter. I love both Rob and Kristen as individuals and whilst you can’t deny their obvious chemistry and,however much I believe they are a true couple, I just want them both to be happy. I therefore keep myself in my own little bubble. I personally believe that people who waste all their time trying to discredit something that is really none of their business are very sad indeed.Long live Robsten
I just found this site and did so through the AT board. I had no clue there was websites that were dedicated to what I loved with out the hate. My 1st time posting here but I bet it won’t be my last. Thank You!
