RLC Fic Rec – Surviving Bella

Authors synopsis: Spending time on a sailboat on the sea should be the time of your life! But when the ship sinks, Captain Edward and passenger Bella end up in a life raft together. Can they survive the elements and their colliding pasts? M for mature themes/language.
If you’ve read Hide and Drink, then you have become acquainted with Savage7289′s great writing. The woman is an amazing storyteller with an affinity for Darkwards and original plot lines. She delivers more of the same in her latest fic, Surviving Bella.
Not only does this fic have all the aforementioned traits, but it is also extremely well researched. I had no idea about all you could do to survive on a raft in the open sea. This fic is only 9 chapters along but every time I finish an update, I’m dying for another. I have so many questions, mainly where will Edward and Bella end up? Will they find an island somewhere or come across a rescuing cargo ship?
Regardless, I’m having an amazing time reading this. Stuff happens and Edward and Bella wind up on a floating raft in the ocean. Edward is an alcoholic and he soon begins to deal with withdrawal (I thought these scenes were awesome, btw) and unexpected attraction to Bella. He also finds her very annoying and behaves accordingly. Needless to say he is a giant prick in this one, but I still love him. So does Bella. The UST is awesome. I don’t even mind so much that they’ve yet to have sex because their conversations alone have had some pretty hot moments. If you’re looking for something different without sacrificing quality, check this one out. Savage doesn’t disappoint.

Yes, I’m reading “Surviving Bella”, too, and absolutely love it! I wish I had waited until this story was completed….I, too have many questions!
