RLC Fic Rec – Caravaggio
I love fics. I have read nothing but Twilight fanfiction for over a year now. And although in my real life I keep this info on the downlow, in the fandom, I scream it as loud as possible. I constantly search for new stories, and on occasion I get to fangirl over authors when C2R and I interview them for the blog. I also happily rec stories I feel are excellent on the forum, like the one I an reccing here today!

Oh man. Where to start on this story? 17 year old Bella is having her portrait painted by 21 year old Edward. You know how it is when these two get together! Without divulging too many details, they are left alone while Edward does his work, and things begin to happen. Renee and Charlie are married in this story, but it’s not a happy one. These two are definitely non-canon here. Despite her age, Bella is not a shy girl in this story, and she is also pretty mature. Edward has issues and does his best to resist Bella – at first. He’s a tortured artist, and it’s oh-so-freaking-good!
This story is still a work in progress, but so far it’s amazing. It’s well written and thought out. It’s also very sensual. There are some interesting things written concerning Edward as an artist and that whole world. Art definitely becomes a conduit between these two. A very sexy, earthy one. I’m only pissed I started ready this fic when it’s a WIP, but this is only because I like to have a lot to read at once and not have to wait for many updates. There are some majorly sexy lemons – the kind you want to read when you’re by yourself so no one sees your mouth drop open. And of course angst and the moments where you get pissed at a character. But I happen to think that’s a good thing – if you didn’t care you wouldn’t get emotional about it. And this story definitely makes you care.
Like I said before, this fic is still a WIP. The author does a decent job of updating about once a month. She also tweets a lot, so maybe we can harass her for more!

omg, this is so me! haha… my friend will tell people flat out that she does it and even explain to people what it is and they look at her like a freak… then theres me saying “shhhh, shut up you idiot! Its a secret!” haha

OMG I love the story. Thanks for telling us about it. I just finished the last chapter. I want more. Thanks for sharing this. Just like you, that’s all I read right now and I don’t tell anybody, even my best friend. please tell us other fanfiction. I only read a few.
