The Year to Come
As we look back at all of the wonderful Robsten moments of 2009. we can’t help but get a little giddy at the thoughts of what this year could bring. Now we glance ahead through the coming months, and Robsten lovers are overwhelmed at the events that are sure to spawn pap pictures, forum threads, speculation, and discussion. So without further ado…
A Summary of 2010
January 6- People’s Choice Awards
Taylor is definitely confirmed, we’re still waiting on word from the Robsten camp. Will the PCA’s be another TCA, or even better– maybe MTVMAs?
January 21-31- Sundance Film Festival
Both The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys are premiering to audiences across the country as Sundance honors independent films made this past year.
Hopefully Kstew kicks ass and takes names as both of her leading lady films are put on display for the critics to judge.
March 12- Remember Me hits theatres.
Alongside Rob, Emilie De Ravin and Pierce Brosnan put on amazing performances. We can only hope for red carpet pics of Kristen on the red carpet, not as the star of the movie, but rather a date, strongly supporting her man. And who can resist a Beaten Rob? Or Smoking Rob? Or sexin’ Rob?
I know I’ll be there, expecting to be dazzled.
March 19- The Runaways premiere!
A week after Rob’s sure-to-be Blockbuster hits the scene, Kstew will amaze critics and audiences alike with her high-energy portrayal of Joan Jett. Proving she’s more than just a pretty face and an “average girl” like Bella, I’m excited to Kristen stepping outside of the Twilight realm, much less embracing such a kick ass, hard core role. Keeping my fingers crossed to see Rob as arm-candy on this red carpet.
April 15- New Moon is released on DVD.
No more annoying commentary by CH, constantly interrupting little Rob talking about his boufant or Kristen stuttering nervously. I’m excited to see all of the extras, deleted scenes, listen to the commentary, and create a puddle of drool as I slow-mo, zoom, and rewind frame after frame.
June 30- Eclipse Premieres!
Who can imagine that so soon after all of the NM hype dies, we have a new movie to love and embrace (though it will have to last us a while, as BD hasn’t even begun pre-production yet). So don’t pack up your colored contacts and plastic fangs quite yet, we’ve got a movie coming out in about six months! This one is sure to include the famous sleeping bag scene, Victoria’s smack down, and hopefully a little kissing action that lives up to the PG-13 rating.
September- MTVMAs.
The year is sure to end with publicity over Eclipse’s certain success and BD’s making, but we can hope and pray for an MTVMA “Best Kiss” award again, this time with a little less non-kiss and a little more tongue, or at least lip-on-lip contact for Weitz’s sake.
There are plenty of things we wouldn’t like to repeat in 2010 (fan-turned-paps, Rob’s taxi run-in, invasive pics we hate to love, and cruel and unusual Kstew slander), but on the same hand, I could stand to see a few more red carpet interviews, award show acceptances, and Charlie Hotel appearances. So here’s to the New Year, may it be bigger, better, and overflowing with Robsten Love.
So looking forward to all of these!! And to think we already have two pics in the first week of the year alone…squeeeee!!!
Great summary, OTW! So much to look forward to from both Rob & Kristen, together and as individuals. And of course, lots more reasons to squeee!!
