RobstenLove’s New Year’s Thank You
While we haven’t yet been in operation for a full year, 2009 was the one that brought us all together and we have a few touching, emo things to say. Plus a few thanks we’d like to extend. Don’t get used to it though! Usually we’re too busy squeeing to get all sappy.

Wow! It’s been quite a year! I’ve progressed from “suspecting there’s something going on” to “full-blown Robsten shipper” (thanks to many late night converstions with SpunkMe). I’ve been blessed with so many new friends this year. I want to thank C2R and Chonga815 for giving me a home at RobstenLove.com. It’s so nice to have someplace to squee, swoon and laugh with my Robsten friends. Thanks to my mod sisters, SpunkMe, Ever, crryysstaal, OTW, and happilyeverafter for working so hard to keep Robsten Love a happy home. I can always count on you to help me through the difficult days. And, thanks to all of the Robsten Love members for being so passionate about our favorite couple. You are all so much more than just a forum of Robsten believers – you have become family to me. I love you all. Smom
ObsessiveTwiWriter (OTW):
Faster than I could have imagined I jumped from barely being out of my teens and not even acknowledging Robsten, to being a full-fledged legalized drinker, with Robsten Love pouring out of me. Though we haven’t been together a whole year, I feel like this RL family has been through a lot: from the months of the driest, hottest Robsten desert to the rendezvous weekends and red carpets, from non-denials and slanderous articles, to hand-holding pics and blushed responses. The world of Robsten moves fast and sometimes it’s hard to keep up, but with you guys, it has definitely been worth the ride. Thanks for all of your support and love, for not only Rob and Kristen, but for me even on my worst days. Love you guys!
Within the past year, I went from reading The Twilight Saga, to obsessively scanning the internet for movie clips & interviews, seeing both movies, and reading about it all on fan forums here & there. All the while, falling in love with Rob & Kristen on-screen & off (and so were they apparently … heehee). I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have found this forum this summer! It’s definitely my happy place & my escape from the daily chaos that is my life.
So without further ado, I’d like to take this time to express my sincere love & thanks to the following:
My Queens: Chonga & C2R, for all of your hard work in creating & maintaining a place where we can squeeeee together and for inviting me to be a part of it. And also for being my fan fic pimps and turning me on to the likes of FiftyShadesWard, HandsOffWard, FightWard, etc. Love you both lots! xo
My Mod Sistas: Ever, SpunkMe, Soccermom, crryysstaal, & OTW, for welcoming me into your family & showing me the ropes. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m loving it so far! xo

When I read the Twilight books last year, the last thing I thought would happen is that months down the line I would become so engrossed in shipping the movies’ leads, I would co-found a forum dedicated to them! I still remember my initial conversation with my forum-wife, C2R, when she said: “Hey, wanna start our own place?” The woman is a genius and super talented. Then along came Ever, OTW, Crystal, Spunk, Smom and HEA – all amazing, passionate women who completed our little Robsten Love family. It’s been an amazing year and I couldn’t imagine experiencing it all without them.
To all our members, thank you for being so awesome and having faith! We were fucking right!
The pictures, the fics, the interviews – ITS BEEN SO GOOD!! Can’t wait to do it all over again in 2010!!

Last April when I asked NAU to “…download that vampire movie off the internet so I can stare at ‘that guy’ for a couple of hours” I had no idea that 8 months later I would be the co-owner of two fansites devoted to “that guy”and his significant other with 1547 registered members, and 2763 Twitter followers. I’ve never been much of a fangirl for anyone, but I’m glad that once I became one it was for Rob & Stew. Without them I never would have met my internet soulmate Chongalicious, or the rest of my bestest besties: Ever, OTW, Spunk, Smom, Crystal, and HEA. That truly would have been an epic tragedy.
This new hobby has nicely filled the gap left by the other hobby I recently retired from, and as I love computers and technology it gives me an avenue for furthering my knowledge in those areas. So while our sites were largely created out of necessity they’ve become labors of love. Thanks to all our awesome members for making all this so much fun and so worthwhile. D for being a super-cool chick, and a great new friend. You’re fun to squee with! Our sister sites: Spunk-Ransom.com and Random Acts of Rob! We totes love you girls. Here’s hoping 2010 is even more exciting than 2009 was! Because let’s be honest: Eclipse & Breaking Dawn are the movies we’ve really been longing for the most. Right?

If anybody had told me one year ago, that I would fall in love with two young actors, become a fangirl (well, fanwoman *cough*) and join the most awesome forum of the world, I would have laughed and called him stupid! Then I watched Twilight…
