Get A Grip
Every once in awhile I find it necessary to give some of our members a reality check. If that’s self-righteous or pretentious or whatever, color me unapologetic. A large part of the reason we created the forum was so we could have a place to congregate that was calmer, funner, and most of all saner than the other R/K hang-outs on the internets.
Anyone who has spent any time in the comments at The Awful Truth, or at the forums at IMDB knows that the amount of psychos, trolls, and nonstens outnumber normal Robsten shippers like 100 to 1. We don’t tolerate that kind of douche-baggery around here, and while we know they’re lurking *winks* they know better than to post at our site.
Yet we have noticed a marked increase lately in…lets call it “anxiety” amongst a small percentage of our members. And since a lot more people lurk on our forum than post I imagine there is a percentage of the lurkers that are feeling the anxiety too. I could be sympathetic and say something like, “Let me put your mind at ease” but most of you know me better than that so I’ll say: stop being ridiculous.
If going through the threads on our forum isn’t enough to convince you that Rob & Kristen are in a relationship than there really is no hope for you. Perhaps you should ship Brangelina. Rob & Stew are never going to parade their personal lives in public spaces, and while they may one day publically acknowledge their relationship it isn’t going to be tomorrow or anytime soon probably. Why should they? They don’t owe us anything and really it’s none of our business.
The above publications are totally full of shit. All of them. Even the least-skilled marksman hits the bullseye once in awhile, however that doesn’t happen very often. If you see an article in one of these magazines or others like it that fills you with dread or anxiety do not expect to receive reassurances and coddling from our forum regulars. You’ll probably be sighed at and face-palmed.
Furthermore you should ask yourself this: If Rob & Kristen were to break-up how would that have any effect on your life? Even if they were not dating they would still individually be just as awesome as they are now. If they broke-up today we would still carry-on with our web-sites and being their fans. This is their real-lives we are talking about. As much as we love them being together they are not doing any of this for our entertainment. So suck-it-up and be fans NOT fanatics.

Whatever u said here is exactly how I feel. They dont need to show us affections, or show of support to each other in a very public awards or whatever. We could dream that they would one day but we do not have the right to tell what they are suppose to do or not do!

THIS is the reason I come here and stay far away from Ted's board and especially Rob's IMDB board. You have a great forum here that doesn't go to extremes. Love it. Thanks and great post. Couldn't agree with you more.
