There’s One in Every Crowd
I was Team Jacob before Taylor had a six pack. I hate that all of a sudden what used to be “weird” and the absolute opposite of the norm is now amazingly popular thanks to the good-looking, charming Taylor Lautner. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve definitely spent my fair minutes hours days lusting after TayTay and his gorgeous arms/pecs/abs/dimples, but that’s not why I’m Team Jacob.
Being “Team Jacob” is more than just appreciating the fine physique of an underage actor, it’s seeing the heart introduced in New Moon, beating in the background of Eclipse, and eventually becoming whole in Breaking Dawn.
Jacob isn’t a conniving, manipulative friend trying to take advantage of the broken shell that Bella became. Much the opposite actually, Jacob is willing to settle for second place to the not-so-present Edward that he knows will always rule in Bella’s life. He is willing to take what he can get, only a fracture of Bella’s heart, and be happy with that. He nursed a depressed, aching, mourning Bella back to health just by the light of his friendship and care.
I love what he says to Bella, one of the main quotes that has stuck with me throughout the series:
“He’s like a drug for you, Bella. I see that you can’t live without him now. It’s too late. But I would have been healthier for you. Not a drug; I would have been the air, the sun.”
Jacob’s completely right. The relationship that Bella and Edward have, especially in the beginning of the series, isn’t normal or healthy. It wasn’t a girl falling in love with her best friend. It was a girl, spurred on by infatuation and lust, pursuing the mysterious enigma that is seemingly unattainable. Don’t get me wrong here, I love Edward/Bella, I think that they are wonderful together, and who can’t fall in love with Edward a little after reading through the series and Midnight Sun. All I’m saying is that Jacob is a perfectly viable option, and personally, he’s the one I would have chosen.
“I’ll always be waiting in the wings, Bella. You’ll always have that spare option if you want it.”
He loves Bella so much, and why shouldn’t she love him back? He has so much going for him, the werewolf is quite worth the risk in trying to catch him 
His carefree nature and aggressive courting of Bella are very attractive, he’s just so forward. Desperately he tries to win her heart, facing insurmountable odds and ridicule. Once Edward is back in the picture, Jake willingly and knowingly allows himself to be used by Bella to ease her conscience and soothe her pain throughout the last books. He gives everything that he can, leaving nothing behind for the sake of the woman he desperately loves.
“I did know this – every second I spent with her was only going to add to the pain I would have to suffer later. Like a junkie with a limited supply, the day of reckoning was coming for me. The more hits I took now, the harder it would be when my supply ran out.”
I’m not passing out recruitment flyers and contracts, demanding that everyone hand in their “Team Edward” pins and tees at the door on the way out. I’m just asking you to consider why you are Team Edward, and what’s so wrong with the wolf. And if you ARE Team Jacob just for TayTay’s hot bod, get the hell off this site. We’re about ROBSTEN, what are you doing here?

Jacob is a nice alternative to Edward and I actually do like him, BUT I don't agree with him pursuing a girl who is with someone else, that is never cool in any situation, make things too complicated for everyone involved.
Taylor is DEF looking hella hot these days, I'll give ya that! LOL
Jacob is actually ok. Its true what u said here but I’m sorry, I am still Team Edward because when you meet someone you love (like Edward), you’ll know and its not Jacob!! It just clicked & you can feel the electricity running through you when he touched! LoL
By the way, C…I personally love all the Jacob/Edward doll showdown here.

I am Team Edward, but I can appreciate Jacob. He is sweet, witty and with a great sense of humor (I absolutetly loved Eclipse and all the Jabob goodies, he is just funny there).
