New Moon! What are you hoping to see?

We have finally made it to the U.S. premiere of New Moon! How long have I been anticipating this movie? Since before I even saw Twilight. Word had already hit the street that a sequel would be made were Twilight to make more than $150mil. That same weekend, the news hit that New Moon was greenlit! I was personally responsible for contributing $120 towards those million. Saw the movie 12 times!
And so it’s been a year and there has been plenty of conversation around the forum, and off, about New Moon as a movie – how the actors will do, the look and feel of this sequel, will the director do it justice, what scenes would make it into the film, etc. Speculation has been wild, rampant and nonstop!
So on the eve of the premiere, we collected the deepest, darkest desires from our forum’s members for what they really want to see when they walk into that movie theater tomorrow night and the movie begins to FINALLY play. This is what our wish list looks like:
Happilyeverafter: I’m really excited to see how the movie opens & what music they use there. I’m looking forward to hearing Bella’s narration too – I love Stewie’s voice!
Kelly: I can’t wait to see the ending of the movie. I was watching Ellen the other day and she mentioned that the ending will surprise you and make you want to watch the rest of the Twilight Saga. I wonder what she meant by that…..hmmm….can’t wait to find out!
Gutenha: I can’t wait to see the end. And the Volterra kiss… I don’t have words. I wanna see Bella’s nightmares too, I think Kristen did a freaking good job showing us Bella’s zombie state.
Ariadne: I’d love for there to be some of the quirky dialogue from the first movie that departed from the book – “chillax”, “how you liking the rain, girl?”, etc.Fruiz: I can’t wait to see Bella’s reaction the first time she sees Edward (when she’s doing something reckless.) Oh God, I can’t wait till Thursday.
Kimbo7: I really want them to use the quotes in the book when Edward tell Bella how much he loves her when they are in her room after Italy. I want the “moonless night” quote and “I have loved you and will always loved you” quote. I really want to see where they are going to put the Muse song “I Belong to You” because the lyrics make it seem like it would fit when Bella is going to Italy to save Edward.
Chicky72: Edward realizing in that first moment when Bella appears, that she is in fact alive. Both Bella & Edward’s return to Forks, and him convincing her that although he has always loved her, he realized that he CAN NOT live without her and doesn’t ever plan on leaving her again. Bella taking charge and arranging her own “ceremony” into
the Cullen family…thereby Edward making the “marriage” proposal deal. ooh oooh ooooh ooooooh!

HopelessRomantic: 1.I hope that we have “The Best summer ever” scenes so that we can see E & B happy together ( something that was lacking in Twilight) before all hell breaks loose but I have a feeling that if this is included that it would be done as a flashback rather than a “Grease” style opening. 2. I hope that at some point in the beginning that E & B tell each other ” I love you” …totally missed in Twilight (you had a great list hopelessromantic, I’m sorry I couldn’t include it all!)
coco: I think you all know where I stand with team jacob and team edward but I’m really excited to see the wolves cuz when I first saw the initial clip..Jacob reminded me of TK2 only in a bigger version lol But now it’s totally feral and fierce and I’m so excited to see all of the wolves and see how each one of them takes on their characters personality. I also agree with kimbo, I wanna this quote in the movie.“Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars-point of light and reason…And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty’..”
Lins: I am so looking forward to see how the Breakup scene will be like, the Volterra Edward/Bella Reunion and the ending of New Moon.
Ms.Ines: I’m also looking forward to the meadow scene when Bella goes there and she has flashbacks of the time she used to spend with Edward in there and how she realizes that “there was nothing special about this place without him.” I really hope that they used that in the movie…I always loved the scene when Alice comes back. I just don’t know there is something special about that scene that always makes me teary eyed.
Robstenlove84: Well apart from the scene already mentioned (I really cant wait for them all), I am hoping they include the whole Romeo & Juliet scene. Edward pulling Bella up onto the couch and whispering Romeos lines too her. I just love reading that part in the book and cant wait to see our beautiful pair bring such a sweet moment to life on screen. I am just so excited to see it all put together.
OTW: I would love, LOVE to see the Jake/Mike Newton/Bella scene. I think that was pivotal in the development of Jake and Bella’s relationship, and it also obviously set a line between all other boys and Jake. I think that Taylor and Kris can definitely pull off a convincing performance and I’m just excited to see how many times I want to pass out before the final credits roll. I’m guessing 15.
Ames: I wish they will show when Edward goes into Bella’s room to retrieve all the things that hold memories of him. That should be very heartbreaking. I cannot wait for the Italy reunion, that will be amazing as well.
Chicky72: UGH..the ending…I am getting really nervous about that too…”how they will end the whole thing”. The more we hear rumors, the more the rumors say the ending will leave us WANTING MORE?
Chrystal1987: I Cant wait to see New Moon, the thing I’m dreading is when Edward leaves, that broke my heart when I read it so I’m sure I will cry. I can’t wait to see the whole Volturri and the Italy reunion and Alice with her yellow Porsche, when Edward is telling Bella that he cant live in a world where she doesn’t exist.As for me?
