CALM the f*ck DOWN
The Robsten Daily News thread had FIVE PAGES before I even left for work Monday morning. Considering the thread was opened at midnight on Sunday a mere 8 hours previously (we keep each thread open for a week) I was a little surprised by this. I didn’t have time to actually delve into the thread until I got to work but as soon as I did I realized I should have known: the freakin’ Vanity Fair Rob interview has started hitting the intarwebs. I’m not going to pass total judgment on this Evgenia Peretz…until I read the entire article. However, if she makes Rob out to be some kind of drunk, un-talented, douche it’s totally on.
Robstens, you wenches need to listen up! The hysteria & shit-storm that was caused by a few blurbs from the interview is ridiculous. Well…the hysteria elsewhere. Our members aren’t idiots. This post is mostly addressed to the ah…shall we say total lunatics who post in the comments section at The Awful Truth or on the forums at IMDB (yes, we know you’re not all crazy.) You honestly think you heard some sort of denial?

First of all, we don’t even have the questions that elicited the answers. In case you weren’t aware of this, the entertainment media takes things out of context and spins them in their own direction all the time. Kind of like Fox News. Vanity Fair, while traditionally maintaining a good reputation, hasn’t been so on-the-mark this year. But again, I’ll wait to pass judgment on that until I read the entire article. Rob is rightfully pissed at the rags (yes, you are a rag People). Let’s not forget that this summer the rags had him simultaneously knocking-up Kristen & doing it with Emilie de Ravin. It IS “so retarded” to quote Stew.
Secondly, this interview was done MONTHS ago. For all John Q. Public knew Kristen was still with Mr. Angarano as of the end of April. Can’t you see their management coming to the conclusion that it would be best to side-step or deflect as to the issue of Rob & Stew being together to protect Kristen’s reputation from those who would look down on her for such a thing, and from the wrath of the insane fangirls who think Rob’s saving himself for them?
From various grumblings & sources we knew ahead of time roughly what was going to be in this article, and while we knew not to be concerned about it (even if it was a flat-out denial it’s their life right? They don’t owe us jack and we wouldn’t love either of them less if they were apart…but they’re not) we knew a lot of people would be. Ok maybe “concerned” isn’t the word I’m looking for. Maybe apoplectic would be better.
I’m happy to say that for the most part, RobstenLove.com members held-on to their shit. While they discussed the matter thoroughly, the consensus is: so what? We’re more concerned about this writer making Rob look like some kind of emo-hobo. PLUS, you know what happens this month? Harper’s Bazaar comes out with their Robsten spread, and I hear tell that the cover will hit the internets on Wednesday. SQUEE!!! That’s right, TOMORROW. Which brings with it hilarious possibilities, as described by forum member robstenite28:
If Harpers releases the pictures earlier than expected then expect a full blown battle between the NonStens and the Robsteners come Wednesday..

THANK YOU! I hope those crazy E! AT shippers will read your posting. I've been on that E! Awful Truth board and i gotta say 80% of the people there are beyond crazy. And that's why i'm not going be there anymore. I hate to read crappy stuff like that about Rob from the people who used to "LOVE" him so much and now they hate him almost like no one else in the world and just because of that VF article that they analyzed themselves. I belive in Robsten and like you said; the interview was done ages ago. Sorry this way too long comment, i just wanted to share.

Wow, thank God for rational people. Just found this site. I am farly new to Twilight. I have only known about it for 6 months and I saw the movie before picking up any of the books. I was blown away by the movie. I was hooked from that point on and in my spare time I search for any info I can find on twilight and especially Robsten! I do have a question for the blogger that run this site and anyone who wants to weight in, but now with this mag. and especially the interview coming out soon: What do you think the hosts of the various shows will do with it, if anything at all? Especially Kimmel who has both Rob/Kristen in the same interview.
This is why I hang out at the robstenlove forum! The kind of crap that the VF blurbs illicited does not faze my peeps over there! And funny that I should read this now that the Harper's pics are out. HA! Amen Cee! Listen to the boss wenches ..
