Vindicated!!!
Many months ago at a blog far, far away; a very clever girl (now a mod/contributor at Robsten Love) discovered a picture of Rob kissing Kristen hidden inside the VF photoshoot video. If you have never watched the Vanity Fair Photoshoot video, it is an hour well spent for some very flirtatious and tender moments between Rob and Kristen (the kiss can be seen between 16:46 and 17:37 on the video linked above.)
This girl was already a Robsten believer and had also persuaded others (me) to embrace the Robsten love with some very convincing evidence. She noticed on the monitor that the photographer was using to review pics, that there was a picture of Rob kissing Kristen on the cheek. The person sitting by that monitor quickly turned the screen away so that it would not be filmed as if they were trying to keep it hidden.
Oh the drama that ensued! One would have thought she had discovered a second shooter on the grassy knoll! You see, most of the time, this blog was polite and respectful when simply discussing Rob’s scruff or ass. But at the mention of Robsten, the blog was quickly divided.
As usual, the Nonstens made excuses: the pic is too blurry to see a kiss, he was told to do that (possible), you’re crazy (bring on the straightjacket) blah, blah, blah…The arguing became so intense that this girl was actually run off the blog by the Nonstens for presenting her theories and belief in Robsten! Thankfully, with much support and encouragement from her e-besties, this girl returned to that blog (which will not be named) and eventually to her home at Robsten Love to continue entertaining us with her witty comments and endless gifs.
Thanks to forum members Kirenia for the side-by-side comparison of the video screen cap and the actual picture, and of course SpunkMe for access to her vast gif collection, and Hola Magazine for doing us a huge solid and proving our case!

I luv it..i always knew it existed also..had seen the blurry one and video many times..but of course the nonstens had to have proof..wait in their eyes this is still not proof of a kiss..because of course its a manip..HUH..yea thats what i said..HUH..look at those two pics side by side..identical except one is clear and one is blurry..yay spunkme!
i believe that if robert had been instructed by the photographer to kiss kristen as some nonstens insist, there would have been more pictures of this kiss pose. just look at that pic of them looking straight on to the camera. we have several different shots of it. so i believe that this kiss was a spontaneous act of rob. he just could not help himself when it comes to kristen. the boy is smitten.

SpunkMe is the best! I also have that blurred capture kiss im my Robsten folder after I watched that one-hour VF BTS, and I never doubted that it was a legit kiss. Glad that it has been replaced with the real pic, haha. great post by Smom. Hello you guys "waves" !

Thanks everybody for all the kind words!! I am so happy for all the members of the Robsten loving communities to have this great pic of them together. That picture was such a gift to receive this week for me. Thanks for all the love and support you guys have all given to me this year. I couldn't ask for a better bunch of gals (and Chant our Unicorn dude too) to hang with.
It's always a better feeling to spread love and not hate. There is enough hate in this world already. I don't need to be another person to add to the pile.
I thank JAG and Calliope (Calli) for getting me through that time way back when. JAG was the main reason I returned to the online world. I was done. But she worked her magic on me via many emails. I think she could have a job in therapy if she really wanted one. haha So if you like me at all now, you can thank JAG. I am glad I listened to her, because I came to know all of you. Smom and Annie, Calli and JAG and I became a tighter group after that. And then along came C2R, Chonga, ever, Crystal, OTW and all of you. I wish I could name everyone. And I feel lucky to have met leisha and AtR at RAoR as well as all the fun ladies there. Wish there was room to list you all. But you all know who you are and I love all of you guys… whether you agree with me or not. You show me kindness every day and respect my opinions even if you think I'm nuts. haha You let me have them without passing judgement.
So, I look forward to our coming year with this blog and forum together. And most of all I am happy for Rob and Kristen that they have each other and are so happy together. They deserve the world with what they do for us and the crap they have to put up with to provide it for us.

Woo hoo SpunkMe! I remember when you posted this bit of evidence. I was blown away. You are the original source and deserve kudos babee! I'm sure all the other evidence will unfold as time goes by (maybe someday in an E! True Hollywood Story or a made for tv movie called "The Robsten Chronicles: 80 years of marriage and counting"). Then we can flip off the Robstigators some more if you know what I'm saying. Oh no, I got stupid.
Hey SpunkMe, this is Kristen from RAoR. I love you! What a catch. I would have not ever seen this if it wasn't for you! And you were one of my main Robsten converters. Without you I'd be drifting amuck.
About that hour long VF video – it is so beautiful, so personal, I almost felt like I was watching something very private. That entire shoot produced the most amazing pictures I have ever seen. And for the video, I felt like a voyeur, but I couldn't look away. Sadly, I doubt we’ll see interaction like that again, but, whoa. I can live on that video for a long time.

I'm a Robsten Lover, but this looks Photoshopped my friends. Doesn't it? Why is Rob's head lighter than Kristen's? If you remember the really hot pose where they're cheek to cheek glaring into the camera…well this is the exact same face that Kristen had in that other pic. I think it's Photoshopped. But I want it to be real.

Probably it was the sunlight's effect at the moment rob moved his head to kiss her cheek. I believe it happened very fast. But this is DEFINITELY NOT a manip.
If he was asked to do it, why would they try to "hide" this pic? And (as someone above wrote) why didn't they take other pics similar to this one? Because we all know that the photographers basically don't stop shooting.

Just making my observation more clear:
If Rob was asked to kiss Kristen's cheek, why would some crew try to "hide" this pic? They were showing the other pics. And (as someone above wrote) why didn't they take other pics similar to this one? We all know that photographers basically don't stop shooting. So I believe Rob did it beacuse he wanted to.
CourtneyPopLove, it's been a long ride to see a picture of Rob and Kristen outside of their Twilight personage's showing affection to one another. To me, this is why some people have doubts even when they see the picture from the VF photographer's monitor up next to the final product. The truth is, once VF's Art Directors chose the pictures they were going to feature in their spread, they worked them up. Rarely, will a shot go without retouching, whether it's to bump up color, remove too many distracting objects in the background or even up the color of two people who are standing side by side. I know those pics from Hola don't look like the highest quality, but that is the case in the ones that are scanned. Hola magazine is held in the highest regard, it is not a rag and would not publish a manniped photo.
CourtneyPopLove, Rob looks lighter because of the backlighting. The whole photoshoot was held like this, that's the reason you see so many sun beams in the pics. Personally I love this type of setting for photography (and I know this subject, I am a photographer).
That picture is not photoshopped.
