Chonga’s Fic Pimp: A Constant in the Darkness

I wouldn’t rec anything I was half-hearted about, but sometimes I love something so much, I have trouble finding the right words to express myself. It is happening to me now with this rec. I love this story so much. It is angsty, to be sure, but the story is beautiful.

The Edward and Bella in this story are broken – Edward has a sad family history, but excels as a chef. Bella also has a sad family history and deals with it by being bulimic. Then they meet each other when Bella moves to Forks and want nothing but to be the best person they could possibly be for each other. The author also liberally sprinkles each chapter with the poetry that are Joni Mitchell lyrics. Insert huge sigh here.

The best part about all of this? This is a high school fic! And angsty, high school fics are my favorite kind! Anyway, I always say, if you like Wide Awake you will love this fic. Our loves are broken, but beautiful and passionate. You will not regret giving this one a shot! This story is a work in progress. It is rated M for language and lemons, cuz sad people get horny too.
